Sage of the Order
I feel a little weird posting something like this so soon after Telewhacker's excellent recordings, but, um, screw it, I've always been pretty comfortable making an arse out of myself. 
This is a demo I cut last weekend for an instrumental CD I'm hoping to finish up sometime this year. It's pretty rough - the melody lines were all recorded in one pass, I took two off-the-cuff improv takes at the solo and ended up just leaving the second one in as-is (it gets a little meandering/wank-y towards the end but I'll come up with something a little more appropriate for the final version), and I'm using sequenced drum loops which, well, there's a reason I'm not a drummer, lol. I also mixed this in all of maybe a half hour, just a couple EQ tweaks, some delay and verb, a little compression, and, well, what you see is what you get, as they say.
Still, what the hell, thought I'd share. It needs a lot of work, so if anyone has any feedback I'm all ears. Thanks for the listen!
