Hi there,
I don't really post that much on this site, but was wondering if some of you could help me out
I've got an old '65 Verithin Hofner bass guitar, and am trying to find a decent amp or DI for recording purposes. At the moment i'm DI'ing it straight into some Focusrite ISA pre's but know i could get a better sound with a dedicated bass amp/DI.
They are very characteristic guitars and I suspect they may not sound great with every amp out there.
My budget would be £250-300 at the most, my style is Brian wilson-inspired-dirty-digital-folk
If anyone could give me some suggestions I'd much appreciate it
