First off, Do you reccomend getting a rack amp or a table top amp?

But if it is a rack amp, I found these 4 that seem to be somewhat resonably priced.

$200 Oz Q-Mix HR-4 www.musiciansfriend.com/s...id/483860/

$160 Rolls RA62HA www.musiciansfriend.com/s...id/483852/

$140 Behringer Pwerplay PRO-8 HA-8000 www.musiciansfriend.com/s...id/240109/

$110 Behringer HA4700 Powrplay www.musiciansfriend.com/s...id/240107/

I suppose the biggest concern might be if the amp gives off noise or not. I figure I will want 4 channels to get started with. One for me and 2-3 for eslewhere (musicians). Maybe more channels will be useful down the road though.

What headphone amps do you use? How many channels do you find yourself needing? Ultimatly you just want to plug an out from the DPS24 in to this to split the signal 4 or more ways right? And thats what these do, but with level controls?

Thanks

The Oz Audio Q Mix is built like a tank! I have had one for over 6 years now, and it has been dropped several times, and had beer/water/cola spilt on the front. Works flawlessly still!

I have the Q-Mix also (the 6-channel version) and it's extremely quiet when connected with balanced lines. It can really crank, too. And like Mosfet said, it's a rugged little box.
