Hey everyone, I just joined the forum hoping for some help with this. I had one of these a long time ago. Anyway I bought this one. It came with the usual stuff, capstan belt missing, pinch roller froze up. I fixed all that and hooked it to my marantz 2270 receiver. Outputs from tape deck to play 1 and inputs to record 1. With the push button on the receiver on source, and the tape deck on sourceI can monitor a cd player, turntable etc. With both on source I can adjust the signal coming in with the input pots on the tape deck. The record lights light up and it appears to be recording. When I rewind it though and with the receiver on tape, tape 1 and the tape deck on tape I get no output. It was working on playback then quit. I haven't cleaned the heads or demagnetized them. Solution and demagnetizer on order. Would dirty heads cause this? Ya'lls opinion would be greatly appreciated
