This is an unsolicited review of The DP-004.
It is a 4 track recorder (two tracks at a time), stereo or mono with no on board effects. It takes a little time for anyone not used to operating these type of devices but comes with a very definitive and usable operator's manual. On board twin condenser mics or two 1/4 " mic/guitar or line inputs. (No XLR's) but you can use a a mixer or adapter. The inputs have three different setting normal,medium and high gain; Very good and sensitive. On-board headphone output with volume control. Recording,bouncing and " mastering " tracks into high quality WAV. files ,saved to your SD card(up to 32 gig) is very simple and can be transferred to your computer via USB with furnished cable. Overall it is an excellent recorder. The only negative aspect is it doesn't come with an AC adapter(sold separately). You get about 8 hrs. of use with 4 AA alkaline batteries.
