Subwoofer for Presonus Eris 5

Hi guys, really new to all this home recording stuff.

I have a pair of Presonus Eris 5's and am wanting a bit more bass so I was thinking about getting a subwoofer. Nothing too big, I have my eye on an AVE Fusion10S as my budget is pretty low at the moment.

The question I have is how would I set it all up?

I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. Would I go Focusrite to Subwoofer and then outputs of the Subwoofer to the 2 studio monitors?

I've attached a photo of the back of the sub.

Sorry for being a n00b. We gotta start somewhere right?

THANKS!

yes that sounds right.

the Sub woofer has the cross-over filter, so it will take all the sub-freq and pass the higher freq to the 5".
Usually the Sub have a 80hz or 150hz setting.

The 5" will have a entirely new sound and clarity will be amazing as the small cones don't handle the bass as well, as you know.

I liked the 5" with Sub better than the 8" or 6" with sub....nice a setup.
