Studiomaster Logic-12 mixer: Aux routing

I've just done the small chore of setting both Aux Sends in my little mixer to Pre-Fader operation, so I can get 4 individual outs from it into a soundcard (using Aux 1 and 2 as Outputs 3 and 4). Now, there's yet another difference made in the Logic-12 manual between Aux 1 and Aux 2:

Aux 2 is set at "Post-EQ", but for Aux 1 there is no mention made of this additional configuration. Aux 1 is only "Pre-Fader" or "Post-Fader" (now pre-fader).

So the question is: Is Aux 1 "Post-EQ" by default? Does this make sense?

This must be relating to typical uses for Aux 1 and 2, as Aux 2 can be used as a mono monitor send, right? There'd be a choice as to whether you want EQ on the monitoring signal I suppose. Seems right that Aux 1 would have the EQ by default: Aux 1 has 2 returns, for use with a stereo FX box, like a Reverb, and you'd do your EQ before adding 'verb... Am I thinking rightly here?

Thanks for your time, as usual!
