I need to know how to get music from my roland digital recorder onto my web site. ??? Do the tracks need to be mixed down and mastered first or can they just be transmitted from the individual settings?
 
Well, first of all you're gonna need to get them on to your computer. I'm not familiar with that unit but a friend of mine has a Roland BR-8 and uses the optical out from that into the optical in on his soundcard. Does your unit have a CD-burner on it ? If so,you would just need to rip it to your PC using a ripper ( www.exactaudiocopy.de ) and then encode it to MP3 format. Exact Audio Copy will do this as well. You then can choose from a number of sites to post your music unless you have webspace to post it yourself. I like www.NoWhereRadio.com.
