so up until now I've been using my firepod.
However , over the weekend it gave me the dreaded "red light of death" as I've heard it been called.
I have to send it out for repairs which means I won't have it for at least a month.
this is unacceptable because I have some bands coming in soon and we're almost done our ep and I don't want to slow down our momentum.
I think i'm done with the firepod so I was looking into getting the delta 1010.
now if i do it that way.. i need to either get an 8 channel preamp or a mixer with 8 direct outs.. problem is i'm kinda on a tight budjet at the moment
any ideas?

by the way I am looking at the rackmount version of the 1010.. or would i be better off getting the lt and using the money I save on a better mixer?
i dunno upgrading a mixer shouldn't be a problem in the near futur..
