I recently bought a Valeton OC-10 octave pedal. Supposedly it's modeled after the Boss OC 2/3 super Octave pedal. I want to lay down bass lines with my acoustic guitar for looping purposes (not playing chords).
Unfortunately, I am getting a lot of warbling sounds when I use it (only using octave 1 and not octave 2). I read reviews on this pedal and it seemed to be very comparable to the OC3, but...I can't get it to sound good.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is the pedal just not as good as the Boss? Or...is it just not possible with one of these pedals to get that decent bass line with an acoustic? Keep in mind, the reason I got this pedal over the Boss was because it was considerably cheaper. So, I'm not looking to spend much.
