MusicLab RealGuitar 5

Hi
I have been working on a new song after a 6 month break, but it seems to me that this software has been updated and in one respect at least made less user friendly. I used to be able to record a basic chord sequence on the midi keyboard, then simply browse the patterns in RealGuitar, choose the one I liked and the pattern would automatically be applied to the whole midi track. In this way I could then render the basic midi track as a strummed or picked accompaniment by converting it to audio to be played alongside the other audio tracks in the song. But recently I haven't been able to do this- all I can find is the pattern library from which it seems you have to construct your own track. Is it no longer possible to apply a particular pattern to a prerecorded midi track? Appreciate any guidance with this. Thanks.

I don't know, but I have seen "upgrades" actually do a "downgrade". good luck... you might have to go deep inside to speak with the software guru and get a work-around.
