Microphone tripod attached to roof

hey,

does anybody have an idea of how to attach my microfone to my roof to get the whole consturuction hanging from the roof?

I would need just sth like this

But this construction is ment to attach it to tables, but i need a kind of construction like that to attach it to the roof!

Can any body help me , thanks!!

Someone else asked exactly the same thing a while back, but I can't find the thread now. Basically, use a standard boom stand, and get a threaded fitting that you can attach to the ceiling that matches the thread at the bottom of the stand upright.
Of course when you decide you need to move the mic 3 feet over, you have to take the fitting you attached to the ceiling down, and reattach it in the new place. That's why traditional boom stands on the floor are much more practical.
