How to route tascam m30, cant here myself through monitors help!!!!

I'm just trying to hear myself using a mic to tascam m30 to monitors, vu wont even budge

What kind of Mic? Does it need 48V phantom?

Plugged into MIC input?
Mic Att to 0 ?
Mic Input selected?

It looks like 1-6 is low impedance and 7&8 are higher, have your tried changing the input?
Seems theres only a fader for some gain and the rest is a low level audio.

it looks like a fun mixer, the manual is >40 pages!

From reading through the manual I don't see any preamp gain.
The Fader is a attenuator and the only gain seems to be 14db.

I only followed it through the front end. The Direct Out, the Submix etc....I have no idea, too much! lol
