I have been a composer, conductor, arranger for many years. My entire 'kit' was taken down last week and I have just gotten everything backup...kinda.
I just got a Yamaha PSR 292 (my other keyboard was stolen in the move), a Win 7-Pro computer and op. sys. 4 Gig Ram. For sequencing software I have Audacity 2.2.2, Sound Forge 80, WavePad and Mix Pad, all purchased and licensed. I also have the UX-16 Midi/USB cable as well as a Roland Sound Canvas SC-88 Pro.
I am trying to hook up the Yamaha to my computer, but nothing is working. I have looked at all he YouTube tutorials, have all the Audacity Manuals as well as the 292 manual. Nothing works as they say. I would appreciate any help from you guys as I am at a loss.
