I'm looking for some good headphones for tracking in around the $100 range. I want something fairly neutral soundwise. And I'm also wondering about semi-open and closed. To begin with I'll be doing most everything direct except acoustic guitars and vocals - how muh of an issue is bleed and can it be overcome? I have a little hearing loss and I'm worried about more, and I'm thinking hours in semi-open would be more forgiving then closed. Is that wrong?
As far as closed cans, I've looked at Sennheiser HD280, Sony 7506 and ATH M-50. Hadn't looked at semi-open yet. Thanks in advance!
