Ear Plugs for live sound engineers...

I know this is probably a little off topic for a 'homerecording' forum, but i'd like as many opinions as possible...

Basically as the title suggests im looking for earplugs suitable for live mixing - that is they don't colour the sound, only decrease its volume.

at the moment i'm looking at Alpine Musicsafe Pro's or Etymotic ER20's

Has anyone had experience with either of these?

If you have had experience of both which would you recommend?

Do you know of alternatives in this kind of price range?

I have looked at moulded ones but from what i gather they arent necessarily better sonically, they are more comfortable, i do not mind sacrificing comfort if it'll save me a good hundred quid or so...

Thanks

Sam

If you're a live engineer, surely a hundred quid or so is a drop in the water? If you're gonna have to spend night after night with them in i'd wanna have them as comfortable as possible.

I've been using the same pair of molded ones for half a decade or so. I'm a pretty big fan. (Turns out the inside of my right ear is pretty funny shaped. Regular plugs don't sit right.)
