Best Secondhand Powered Mixer for the Money

Hey everyone,

I recently blew my old Peavey PA head and I don't really have the money to upgrade to digital. I'd like to just get another powered mixer and be back in business already. Someone on another forum recommended a Mackie 808s so I've been looking at those. The ones that were made in the USA seem to be ok, but I'd like a little more education before I drop $400 on a piece of 15 year old gear.

I realize that mixers like this are usually underpowered but our old Peavey actually did us pretty well for being severely underpowered so I'm not too worried about it. I have a 3-piece punk band; guitar, bass and drums w/ 2 singers. We use combo amps so the hill we need the PA climb is the drums. Also does anybody know if those new Yamaha EMX5's are any good? They're very cool looking but I know that can be deceiving. Maybe Peavey has something? They've always served me well. Anyways, thanks in advance...

Oh and I'm just running 2 x 12" mains at 8 ohms each, no monitors
