I've had the Krk Rokit 6 in my room to mix and listen to music for 2 years now, but I really want to switch to another set of monitors because I really can't stand the sound of them anymore.
I was thinking to step it a bit up with the Adam A5X, because they suit my budget of 1200€ for monitors + a bit of treatment (I already have basstraps in the room, but was really unhappy with the Krk's response from 250 Hz downwards nonetheless).
Problem is: I've never heard these particular speakers. I've only heard Adams S3X in the studio of my university (& also the Genelec 8050 I believe, but I don't really like the Sound of those). The Adams sound absolutely insane, but are obviously on a different level than the A5X.
What are your experiences with lower budget Adam speakers? I would love to know!
