I'm wondering, what does everyone have on their kit? What hardware, cymbals etc and how is it set up?

I have a Remo Quadura 5-peice. I play a four peice and I've thought about about mounting the the 2nd tom from the Ride stand. I have paiste 402 silver hats, Alpaha series crash, Sabian Plus Ride (old - it has the BEST sound) and a middle of the line Dixon double kick pedal.

I hope to get a China and a new set of Crashes

    what about everyone else??

    Cool

    I have two jazz kits:

    1) The Good Kit: Pearl Master Customs in Natural Maple finish.

    14x20 bass drum
8x12 tom (or 8x10, sometimes both)
    14x14 floor tom

    2) The Everyday Kit: Pre-1967 Ludwig in Silver Sparkle

    14x20 bass drum
    8x12 tom
    14x14 floor tom

I use a variety of snare drums with either kit including:

    61/2x14 Ludwig Supraphonic (metal)

5x14 Lyra (old Japanese) custom built w/Slingerland hardware

    51/2x14 no-name student model (wood)

    3x10 toy snare

    3x13 Pearl maple piccolo snare

Cymbals: all Sabian (except where noted)

    20" HH medium ride
    18" HH flat ride
20" AA flat chinese (old w/rivets)
    18" HH thin chinese
    17" HH med. thin crash
    16" AA thin crash
    13" HH Hi Hats
    8" AA splash (2)
    13" K/Z hats (Zildjian)

Not all cymbals are used at the same time.

I also use a set of Roland pads and an Alesis D4 module for MIDI sequencing.

    Wink My Personal Equipment Setup...

    6-piece Ludwig Rocker(white)series with HD mounts. Remo heads(black w/white pinstripe) except for snare(XHD SS2). All hardware is double-strut heavy duty, Ludwig chain-drive pedals(bass/HH). Zildjian 14" HH/Zildjian 22" ride/Zildjian Avedis 15" custom crash/Zildjian 18" rock crash/Zildjian Scimitar 'bronze' medium rock crash(hate it)/Sabian B8 Pro 18" medium crash/Zildjian Avedis 6" custom splash/Zildjian 16" china boy. I have an obvious cymbal fetish. ;-)
Easton "Tommy Lee" concert series 'sleeved' sticks, with 2-3 pair of Vic Firth "Modern Rockers"(no taper)in stick bag. I play extremely heavily therefore use both grip tape & thick batting gloves for grip & to avoid too many blisters. I am not anything special, talent-wise, but I am heavy and steady with a reasonably unique style. Have used double-pedal in the past but broke it so am back to a single for the time being, forcing my speed to improve as a result. Have photos if interested
