triggering with mesh heads...

I want to buy a real drum set (just a 399 Ludwig set), slap mesh heads, and triggers on it...what triggers should I use? and how would that work?...I'd also appriciate any sugjestions for a good brain. And is there a fake hat pad that will work with an actual hihat stand?
