Drag and Drop Drums?

I'm new to home recording so I'm trying to absorb as much info as possible. I'm in the process of learning ProTools Free (LE and Digi001 coming in 2 more months).

I've downloaded a ton of samples, but nothing has appealed to me thus far. Is there a program in which I can create drum tracks to import in PTools (as Wav files)? I need something easy... click a snare beat and drop in place, click a tom, etc.

Any suggestions?
 
If you have a ton of samples already, Fruity Loops is great. $49 without the piano roll (it doesn't sound like you need it), $99 for the full-featured version. It works on a grid/pattern/song principle, like most drum machines. www.fruityloops.com
