    Black Dog

Sounds very good. I just noticed a little bit of, well I don’t know how to put it except to say a lack of manly low end. Forgive me if that sounds prejudice, but it’s just something that ticked my brain, especially on the aha part.

    Black Dog

    Sounds like a woman singing.

    Blame (Tribute to Stu)

Sorry to hear about Stu, Kev. I know he was a hell of a guitar builder. And I remember listening to a bunch of his stuff at RP back in the day.

    Manslick - Rebel - needs a mix

Well, I now know I'm simply old, and way behind the current. I love the way you guys added a touch of saturation, wherein the whole thing is as rash rough as falling off a bike. This is not a dis. It's art. Meaning your treatment. I'm sitting here loving all your work. Love

    Manslick - Rebel - needs a mix

Yes. I get it. This is raw. Very nice treatment. I think it shows what's possible in the hands of talented people. Really loud and nuanced.

Not that much. 🌝 It’s the raw tone.

    Manslick - Rebel - needs a mix

Yea it sounds pretty much like it does in my basement. I hate most of the slide part so I rode the fader on that track. Thanks

    Manslick - Rebel - needs a mix

Yes the vox/guitar was recorded in one take with two microphones and the one did clip. I think one track is usable. Thanks for trying.

    Manslick - Rebel - needs a mix

Thanks DM - yeah it needs tweaks. It's raw - no click track and largely improvised throughout as evidenced by the pretty horrible part there right after Emiel faded LOL. Regards,

    Manslick - Rebel - needs a mix

Sounds really nice Emiel. I like it. I purposely restricted the slide guitar in many places because I'm not a slide player. The whole song was improvised with only a couple of retakes. I see you faded out before the train wreck - nice work. I did mine completely on a Tascam DP-24, and not make...

    Manslick - Rebel - needs a mix

Looking for help to mix or even redo this. The main vox are recorded with two mics, one of which was overpowered and has a tint of distortion, which is what the artistic bent requires, but I am sure I didn't get it right... Maybe you can work with it as is. I wanted this to be primarily vox and...

Audio needs work. Intro is very loud but the narrator is very low with too much room.

    Songs from a Broken Corral

I listened to Monet‘s generation. The very first thing that hit my head was the singing sounds like Johnny Cash toward the end of his career. As for the story, well it’s relatable. In a general sense, I mean, who hasn’t wished they lived in a different time or place? If all you’re really...
