Custom pc build. Thoughts on these specs?

What do you guys think of these specs? I'm looking to make it as future proof as I can within my budget of £1-1.3k. I'm running omnisphere, kontakt libraries, orchestral templates, plus the Adobe editing suite. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/zy4dVW Overkill perhaps? What would you change to...

Mics for Gongs, Tibetan Bowls, Rainsticks, Shamanic Drums...

What mics have a nice low frequency response but aren't too harsh in the highs, that would respond well to the aforementioned 'ethnic' instruments? The only mic I currently own is a rode nt1a - it's probably sufficient but I feel it's best suited for vocals and acoustic guitars? Budget between...

    Echosphere

You're absolutely right...it doesn't go anywhere does it. Think I'll go back and add more melodies over the top as it progresses

    Echosphere

Ok I wasn't really able to mix this properly due to CPU usage, so i may need to go back and 'print' some tracks with the fx added. I'd still appreciate some feedback on the mix thus far though.

    "Crimson Rain"

Thanks rfr, yeah what the hell. I did enjoy laying down the vocal tracks for this. Tool...not really an influence for this particular track...was going for more a geordie walker wall of sound type effect actually. Incidentally, I'm seeing Tool play at a festival in Norway this June... I don't...

    Indian Dream (remastered)

High fidelity recording, really up close and intimate. great playing also

    Delighted

Everything sounds good mix wise, but a bit vanilla...

    The Flying Dutchman

Ah yes, this is my jam. I listened to the whole thing. My suggestions would be to dial back the bass a bit and maybe add a bit more clarity to the vox. Also after the (very good) solo, I feel it falls a bit flat...I would actually play the track out with the solo, end it on a high note.

    Sacred Cow

I personally love the mono effect.... I agree on the bass being a little too overpowering. Got the Bowie schtick down to a T :)

    "Crimson Rain"

Thanks very much for the feedback TripleM. Yes I agree on the keys. I intentionally buried the vocals a bit, wanted them to sound a little 'washed out'.

    More than a Lover

    Smooth production....beautiful voice

    Manslick - Come on

Would it be worth pulling everything a little more towards the center? Just to make it sound more cohesive? The song itself is cool, lots of potential there :)

    "Crimson Rain"

Hey guys and gals, I would appreciate some feedback on this moody little ditty. Yeah I can't sing for s**t but it was fun recording vox having predominantly recorded instrumentals till now

    Sabbath-Wicked World vocal FX?

I always wondered what was going on with Ozzy's voice on Wicked World fx-wise; does anyone know? Is it just a band pass effect or is there more going on? It almost sounds like a different guy singing.

    Dick Flash (Funksploitation)

Thanks very much guys - will get round to listening to everyone's tracks once I have time!! @PorterhouseMusic That's ezdrummer...the funk kit expansion. I programmed the drum patterns by looking up some of the more popular ones on YouTube drum tutorials. That's something I do with every genre...

    Dick Flash (Funksploitation)

A quick mix on this one - was created more for fun than anything. Based on the old blaxploitation soundtracks.

Use of the kick in this song.

I'm doing a cover of this song - is it just me or does it sound as though the kick drum is absent from the first half of the track, barring the low E tremolo part? It seems that the cow bell is taking its place..? It's a lot more audible during the middle section, during which the cowbell bows...

What Once Where Lemmings...(Are Now All Bones)

My mind of jam....I approve. For the total Sabbath package though I'd have added more thwack to the drums and added more variation to the bass line instead of strictly copying the riffs. I like the guitar under the spoken word part.

    Seraph (updated)

Updated with guitar at the start to tie the intro in with the rest of the track

    Chicken Cherry Bitcoin

Utter madness, love it. Great lyrics :) Maybe add a bit more verb to the vox instead of the slapback (assuming it is a slapback)?
