Tascam US-122

Hello everybody,

I just got myself a US-122 Audio Interface, and have started doing some audio recordings. Probably worth pointing out I am a complete novice . . . Anyhow, when I use my near field monitors, I get output of both left and right channels, however, not so when using the headphones for monitoring, which only appear to be picking up the left side. I also noted when looking into Cubase LE setup (the package that came with the US-122) that VST Outputs only give me US-122L. Any ideas where I could go wrong and any feedback greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Turn the Mono switch on when using Direct Monitoring with the US-122 headphone jack, this sends the Mono signal to both sides of the headphones. When you record guitar into either channel its only a Mono signal, therefore you are only recording a Mono signal to one side of a stereo pair in a channel, unless you have a stereo guitar or mic this is the way it works.
