Hi
Just bagged a very clean Tascam 464 Portastudio for free!!! and wondered if anyone has any hints/tips to pass on?
I have a 424mk111 which I have used for a few years, at first glance it looks very similar. also it has the dreaded no manual syndrome , so Im not sure how to put it into cleaning mode to clean the heads etc, could anyone help me there please? ,looking on the net and on the Tascam site the manual for these are impossible to come by, I wonder why that should be? you can get virtually all the others apart from the 464,
Is the machine itself a bit of a rarity? they seem to crop up on evilbay occasionally ?
