I was using a kx soundblaster card, and it was recording o.k. considering, then i tried to move up a bit and picked up a used tascam 122.
Its been nothing but a nightmare. Sonar crashes as soon as i go to the audio settings, and it reboots my pc. ive spent hours on the phone with tascam, tried reinstalling drivers and so on. When it did work slightly, it would be noisy, stuttering. Latency settings and such had no effect. I tried disabling hyperthreading on my pc, disabling many other devices , you name it.
can this device really be this bad?
