My 424 mkii is eating through fuses. Whenever I rewind/ff or even when just cleaning the pinch roller while against the capstan while spinning, both fuses blow. The capstan is fine until either a tape is in it and I do something with it, or if it meets a little resistance.
I don't have schematics (yet). Just wondering if there was something to check?
