Got it figured out and all is good..... except the pinch roller is also soft. Any clues on a new one?
Well..... am replacing the belts in my 234 which I've owned since new. While taking apart the transport mech to get to the square belt I failed to note the position of the black gear which has "play, rec, ff, etc" engraved on it with the small white arm that appears to fit onto it and only moves a specific distance either direction before it stops. Pretty sure this alignment is critical to the transport operating correctly so any help so I can finish and get it up and running again is greatly appreciated. THANKS!
