FWIW I think C9 is going to come out early December. The last 2 releases have been early december and the one prior to that was January.
If history is any indicator we are gonna have a new version in December.
If you are like me and drag your feet on upgrading I would argue this is the month to do it because usually the grace period covers this month and part of last month. It would be cheaper to upgrade to 8.5 and get in the free grace period than it would be to upgrade from your pre 8.5 version to 9.
Just heads up, also I want to make it clear I don't work for Stienberg. I honestly have no idea when C9 is actually going to come out.
