Hi there everybody! I'm a home recording musician and I generally work in the rock realm. Since my studio is in my spare bedroom I have to record my drum parts by finger drumming on my Korg Nanopad 2.
I'm wondering how other people approach this. I always have to do at least a couple of tracks in order to get something close to a "real" drum track. I have used the drum tracks in my Korg Kronos but for rock, there are only so many and of course what is there doesn't always fit with the part of the song that I'm working on. I play all of the parts in the songs. Guitars, bass, keys and vocals.
Have any of you found a good way of recording realistic drum parts in Groove agent SE?
I do know that my drum parts will never be as good as having a real drummer play but I'd really like to get closer than I am and also have them come together a bit quicker than I can do currently.
