No mono signal

Not sure what you are asking. are you recording or playing back? What are you trying to do?
 
So I figured out the problem. It was a busing issue (i'm quite new to this) I was actually in the midst of trying to delete the post; do you know how i can do that? haha
 
I'm also not clear what you're asking but I'm going to take a wild guess...

If your stereo tracks are, in fact, simply the same thing in both channels but one is the opposite polarity to the other, when you convert it to mono the tracks will exactly cancel each other out and give you silence.
