Latency midi/cubase sx3

Hey guys,

My friend has just purchased a Korg K61 (with M1 software) and is wanting to use it with Cubase SX3. He has managed to get the midi sounds working fine (previously only the cubase midi sounds were available) but now there is a latency of almost a second. any suggestions on how to get the music to sound as he plays it?!

LATENCY - there is a chapter in the Cubase manual on it.
(There is a free downloadable pdf manual at www.auxbuss.com too...)

Its adjustable in the ASIO Control Panel and in Cubase buffer prefs.
(You SHOULD be using ASIO, not MME audio drivers if you want low latency)
