Help Routing to External Effects?

How do I add effects to an existing track using an external effects processor? I'm running straight into an Aardvark LX6, without a mixing board, and I want try adding reverb from my lexicon to some existing VST and Audio tracks. Once I figure out how to route to the effect processor, then do I have to record the effected track onto a new track? I have "Fast Guide to Cubase," but it really doesn't say much about routing to external devices. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

you'd assign whatever track you wanna proces to one of your outputs on the card...then from that output of the card into the input of your lexicon..then you get the output of your lexicon and connect it to one of the inputs of your card...then in your software you would enable a track for recording and assign it to the input that your lexicon's connected to and just record the signal that comes back from your processor....
