EZDrummer 2 and Cubase Audio Warp Not Getting Along

Hey guys!

I’m trying to use Audio Warp on a guitar solo in Cubase 9 Pro and it seems to be really screwing up the EZDrummer 2 track I created. When I say screwing up, I mean what I’m doing to the guitar part seems to be presently tweaking the fabric of time with the EZDrummer as well.

Is this normal?

Is there a way around this?

Yes this is normal. If you want to change it just hit the button on the track that is the shape of a note and make it a clock in the track inspector.

When you hover over the button it will say "toggle time base between musical and linear."

Cubase defaults to musical.
