Cubase VST - Metronome Issue

When I set the count-in for recording - 2 bars 4/4 - there is a 9th click which sounds when each recording starts (and is recorded along with the song). I'm confused why this extra 'one' click occurs? Anyone know a way around this or why it is occurring?

go in the metronome options in transport windows i think that's precount not sure thought

Sussed it out. Went into the transport window - changed the MIDI click to Audio and solved the problem. Can't understand why the MIDI click was providing that extra click though? Anyone any ideas?...
