Cubase LE & Zoom R8 - Master Track problems

Hello folks! Please help me out here, I'm a novice to this stuff and making a proper arse of things...

I mastered my 2-stereo-track project on Zoom R8 and managed to save the file to my mobile with no problems, and it plays fine.
Tonight, I installed Cubase LE & Zoom R8 Drivers onto my Samsung laptop, with hope of editing this master track, but Cubase can't open the file and neither can Windows Media Player. I am lost and no idea what to do next. How come my mobile can play it ok? Do I need to find a friend with a fancy Mac?? Or is there something I can do myself?

Any help would be most welcomed and greatly appreciated!

Do you have options as to what file type the Zoom exports? I have no experience with the Zoom myself. Cubase tends to open almost anything.

Upon some Googleing, it seems you should not be having an issue. The Zoom records wav files.
