Hey everyone.
Im brand new to this cubase 5 thing so please be gentle with me.
I have a pc running cubase 5 with a firestudio mobile interface unit.
I have the interface synced up ok and all was well.until.
I went to record my first guitar track. I added a track and set it to mono track.
I pressed record enable on the channel . i am monitoring through my interface unit.
I am recieving a guitar signal into cubase as the level meter second from the right on the transport panel is moving when i play.
But i am getting no signal to the selected track itself. when i record it shows a track record but no audio is recorded.
please help ... two days of this is drivin me nuts.
Also .... can I monitor my guitar with effects or amp simulators as i play either through cubase or the interface.
Ive been told i can only monitor through my interface which is a dry signal.
