Cubase 5 error fatal error msg, please help

Hello I work on Cubase 5.0.1 on a Sony Viao I7 laptop

I am struggling to solve a serious error problem which crashes the program after occurring

Here is the crash log, if any of you guys know how to solve it I would greatly appriciate it!!!!!

Basically in reality what happens is that everytime I move the mouse pointer exactly on top of the locators bar above the actual cubase grid
the program crashes!

I need your help please! Thanks!
 
When it comes to Cubase, these errors can be associated with a number of errors in both the hardware and software domains. As far as hardware goes, it could be that you have a bad RAM chip. Try pulling out all of your RAM and re-insert them one by one while checking to see if the problem goes away. If you have any DSP cards, take them out while going through this process.

However, before you do all that, I would first uninstall your audio driver for whatever interface you're using, and then either reinstall them, or get the latest driver version and install that one. Then, remove ALL free VST plugins from your system and experiment to see if the problem persists.

The problem with these errors is that they could be linked to anything from a small software error to a major hardware failure. The possibilities are endless.

I found a thread on Cubase.net where a poster outline a similar problem, which ended up being related to a plugin and multi-processing. Try disabling multi-processing in Device Setup and see what happens.

i have a same problem when i open my cubase its work normally then when i open a project or work on a new project fatal error pop up ,, sometimes i have no playback is there anyone can help, i troubleshoot this error in a few days and i cant do this help!! i have no playback and sometimes a fatal error in may cubase 5 with lexicon omega , i use lenovo i5 win7
