Copy/Paste

Does anybody know how I can write a drum file using FruityLoops, copy to midi clipboard, and paste it in Cubase 5.0? Whenever I try to paste in Cubase, it doesn't give me the option to paste.
 
Maybe that´s because you CANNOT do that. Fruityloops is an excellent app for audio, but its MIDI features don´t work in most of cases. Try to export your patterns or songs to audio files, it works fine.
 
Yea, that feature does work, but I need to create midi tracks for drums. Copy/Paste feature works fine in Cakewalk, but I was kind of hoping I could do the same thing in Cubase. Actually I do most of my midi drums with FruityLoops to seperate tracks. Once you assign your channels to the right places, it's an awesome midi program.
