Howdy, Here's what I'm looking to accomplish:

record keys/guitars/ect. on my analog 4-track and bring the tracks home to dump on my computer having them properly sync with some other tracks
already recorded in acid.

my question:

Is there any way to have the analog tracks properly sync(on time) with the digital ones?

my shit: Tascam porta424 cassette 4-track. -Acid music3.0 -Soundforge 4.5

Is this impossible? Is there a method/tool in SF or acid that could do this?

Any Answers? Ideas? Takers?

You can't sync the PortaStudio to the PC, but you can make the PC follow the PortaStudio.... IF you had striped one of the tape tracks with SMPTE or at least an FSK signal that can be used by the PC to sync to.

Without a sync stripe, forgedabowdit............

huh?
