hi guys - been asking around everywhere - long term reader, think this is my first post - thought i may as well ask a forum of other home recordists!
i've got an mbox 2 pro running through a macbook. as soon as the mbox is powered up, the peak lights on the inputs light up suggesting that there's a signal coming through, when i don't actually have anything connected to the mbox, and even when it's not connected to the mac. when i run it through protools and record enable the inputs there's a constant buzzing signal coming through which doesn't alter no matter how much you adjust the signal knob on the mbox - even when it's at 0.
anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is or suggest a solution?
I'm 99% sure i don't have a warranty, as i bought it second hand from ebay about 2 months ago. It had functioned perfectly up until about a week ago.
any help would be much appreciated.
