Plugin for delay compensation in LE?

I've been using LE for a while now, and the lack of automatic delay compensation had never been an issue...

BUT, now I'm wanting to use some outboard gear, and use the 'hardware insert' function, and the delay is annoying the hell out of me. It can't even calculate the delay like it says it should. It says there's a 6 sample delay on a track with a hardware insert, but after much playing around, it's actually about 3365 samples.

Is there a plugin around that can calculate the delay of a track and automatically compensate? Is there a plugin around that will do the opposite of delay? (As in, play the track slightly early)

What do you guys do about this issue?

The hardware itself will delay the signal a noticeable amount. As for how to fix this, I don't use outboard gear so I'm honestly not sure!

there isn't any plugin that will calculate your external gear in LE.
I think in the newer versions of LE you can insert a time delay plugin on all the other tracks to delay every track in time....or just move the region on that track back.
