Bouncing

So I'm going to bounce a mix from Pro Tools LE as a WAV and then open it in a new session in Pro Tools to do a few final touches to it before burning it to CD. The session was recorded and mixed at 44.1/24. I'm looking for what the best settings would be to use when bouncing in each stage.

When bouncing the original mix, should I use 24 bit for my resolution and 44.1 for my sample rate when bouncing to a stereo interleaved WAV file? And then open that WAV in a new Pro Tools session using 44.1/24 and after touching it up with some EQ and limiting bounce that file at 44.1/16 with a dither plugin?

Thanks!

Keep the quality as high as you can, as long as you can. Bounce at 44.1/24 and then when you're done tweaking the stereo mix dither that down to 44.1/16.
