fostex D2424LV 2nd harddisk?

Hi all.

I would like to know what i have to do if i want to install a second IDE hardddisk in my fostex.

There is a harddisk kit available, but i want to use other caddys because they must fit in my computer.

What must I observe if i want to install them?
I put in a 2GB harddrive and used a IDE cable in the 2nd IDE port.
But with master or slave.. it doesn't work.

Maybe YOU could give me a tip?

Hi,

You should try setting the hard drive to 'cable select' ( usually marked CS on the drive ).
