I have a Fostex 160 that I have had for sometime. For some reason the headphone jack just stopped working in stereo. I went to pan and panned to see if that was a problem. I panned left and that side does not work, right side does.
On the mono out the same thing, only one speaker is working. However, on the line out on the back rca plugs, it's working. If I plug into my stereo receiver, which I have everything going thru, the r/l works. If I plug my headphones in the recv I get both sides, as well.
I also see the r/l balance meter working on both sides in the LED panel.
Could I have a bad jack? Or have I inadvertently hit something?
Any help appreciated before I pull cover off and look.
