simple question never used reaper just pro tools. does it have visual EQ's?

nope. use the included ReaEQ or other plugin.

Yes, ReaEQ is included.

What Reaper DOESNT do is automatically put stuff on each track you may not need.
So you can add it to each track's effects chain or put on one of your own choosing.

Reaper does have a visual EQ with ReaFIR.

Visual EQ?? Reaper does have a "para-graphic" eq. Eyes rather than ears? Reaeq is very effective.

ReFir seems like it will do it. I've never used it, more stuff on the screen just means more confusion in my brain.

You can check with the free trial download and see if that is what you're looking for. It only takes a minute to download and install and another to delete if you don't want it. The free trial got me to switch from PT to Reaper.

Isn't the graph in ReaEQ visual enough?

It looks like the same kind of graph that protools has.

The response curve graph? Yeah, it's simple and to the point. The FFT spectrum analyzer things with cascading rows of pretty colors jumping up and down eat up a lot of CPU and don't really help you get you your balance down.
