Minimum Computer Requirements

I transitioned from a laptop recording medium to using Auria in Ipad several years ago. I would like to pick up a another inexpensive laptop to run reaper on, and wonder if someone could give me the minimum specs I need to look for to run reaper smoothly.

I was looking for this type of info at one time too and there's really no "checklist".

They should help some, but the bottom line is get the fastest CPU you can afford and at least 4GB of RAM, but, again, as much as you can afford.

Hey Tom,
It depends greatly on how you plan to run reaper.
I'm sure an old pentium 3 would 'run' it, but if you have 20 vsts and big sample libraries running that's going to be a different story.
How do you use it?
