Hey e'budy.
Will this work with reaper?
Audacity recognizes it but so far "preferences, audio, recording reaper does not.

Do you have multiple audio devices or just this one tracklink contraption? You may have to go through the drop down menu and pick tracklinks drivers from options available.
 
I've managed to get the system to record and playback. Apparently Reaper recognizes WASAPI because now I can hear the playback of what I've recorded however I still can't monitor the instrument while I'm recording.
 
No you probably won't be able to because there is no Direct monitoring available with the device. You will have to monitor via reaper. right click your record arm button in the track you are recording to and select the option to Monitor while recording. this will let you do it, but chances are you will now have to start tweaking your latency settings.
