Why do some waves look like this...

You'll notice some of the waves are chopped off at the end!

These are usually old session files. I am running XP PRo with CEP 2.1. It happens with Audition also. Any ideas???

I just realized that this session has all AIF files. Why I saved them that way back in Feb 1999 I don't know. Maybe I just need to find a program to convert them to WAV files. aaaarrrrg

OooK it looks like the wave files are corrupted. I bet when I copied them from an old back up disc which was all scratched up, it didn't read them all the way. If I remember correctly, some files didn't copy at all. The disc was all messed up. Lesson: back up your stuff only on quality media!!!
