Any way to add more samples to the click track/metronome utility?

Lost in the Fog
Most, (if not all,) of the instrument sounds that are built in to Audition's metronome suck. I use AA 2.0 and would like to add a few more sound samples to be used as click track sounds. Does anyone know how to inject them into the metronome part of the software?

Thanks.

I am not familiar with your software but similarly the click sound in Cubase sucks!

I will just use a drum VST and usually make a click track from a sidestick sample. Lock it to tempo and roll with it. :)

Exactly. the metronome usually has a midi out. send that to a vst instrument with the sound you want. In my old atudio, I sent it to an external dm5, because I had it laying around.

Dont use the metronome.

Build yourself a looped midi track of quarter notes (or whatever you want) and use a sampler or vsti of whatever sounds you want (soundfonts are free)
You can even render out the midi track to an audio track and take up zero cpu resources.

Once you realize how easy it is to build your own, you'll never use the metronome function again...
